I am the Lead pastor of Liberty Christian Centre, Hemel Hempstead, and I have had the privilege of leading the ministry, since its inception in October 2024.
My passion is to see people transformed and fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives

God led my deceased wife Alice to pioneer the church in 2004. Our first Sunday Service was on 17th, October 2004, with three families who had been meeting weekly for prayers on Fridays, in a small room at the Grovehill Community Centre, forming the core of the membership.
We believe that transformed people transform their communities and their environment. We aim to continue to provide an environment for individuals to discover their purpose and calling and work towards fulfilling their purpose in Christ.
As a church, we aim to reach our local community and beyond with the Gospel of Christ, and we welcome you to join us and be a part of our journey.

Kwame Osei-Boadum
Men's Fellowship
Team Leader for the Men's Fellowship.
Also heavily involved in supporting and facilitating the Welfare and Media Teams.
He is also very passionate about knowing about members's situations in times of need so that the ministry can be well positioned to cater to the people where they need help and support.

Janet Obeng
Prayer Team Leader
Janet Obeng is the Prayer Team Leader.
She is very passionate about prayer and seeking the heart and counsel of God in the place of intercession and in the study of the word of God, She has been at LCC for 15 years where she has found a family that she cherishes.

Ato Barkers
Youth Leader
Currently the youth leader in the church. He works professionally as a Civil Servant and has been a member of Liberty Christian Centre for over 10 years.
His main passion is to support the homeless and people in prison, with a desire to reach out to this group and to make Christ known to them.
He loves the God and loves to study His word and impacting others with the reality of a Spirit-Filled life.

Ivy Opong
Youth Team Coordinator
Ivy works professionally as a civil servant, working at the Home Office. Since she joined Liberty Christian Centre, she has been serving in the youth ministry department, and has a passion to see the youth flourish and grow in their Christian life, as the scripture says in Ecclesiastes 12:1 ‘ Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say I find no pleasure in them’.

Cynthia Barkers
Ushering Team Leader
Cynthia currently oversees the ushering department, as leader of the ushering team and is also the organising secretary for the women’s fellowship.
She has been in Liberty Christian Centre for over 10 years serving in various departments.
She works professionally for the council as a Humanitarian Response Lead supporting new refugees with finding accommodation and settling into communities. She's also worked in the council managing the homeless team for several years.
She has a strong passion to help people in diverse ways and above all, she loves God and has a desire to spread His word at every given opportunity.

Sunday School Coordinator
A dedicated and passionate individual committed to serving the church community with excellence and integrity. He is skilled in leadership, organisation, and fostering spiritual growth through Bible study and fellowship.
He has been the Bible Studies Superintendent for 8 years, leading and coordinating weekly Bible study sessions, facilitating discussions and encouraging spiritual growth among participants.
He developed curriculum and study materials to deepen understanding of scripture and its application to daily life in the church membership and he also mentors and supports volunteer leaders in their roles, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment.
