What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Liberty Christian Centre based on the foundational truths taught in the bible, and in agreement with the Statement of Faith of The Assemblies of God (AOG).

All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these fundamental biblical doctrines:

One True God

a.The one true God has revealed Himself as the Eternal One - Deut. 6:4. He exists as the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit-Luke 3:22, and Matt. 28:19, 20.
b.The Triune God is the creator of the Universe - Gen. 1:1, 26 and John 1:1-3.
c.The Triune God is the Saviour of mankind-John3:16 and Titus 3:4-6.

The Word of God

The Bible is the inspired Word of God through which He has revealed Himself to man. 2Pet.1:20, 21 & 2Tim. 3:16.
The Bible is the infallible rule of faith and conduct to guide mankind in all their relations to Him. Psalm 119:11 & John 20:16.

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:
a. His virgin birth - Matt. 1:23, and Luke 1:35.
b. His sinless life - 1Pet. 2: 22, and Heb. 4:14-15
